First, let me answer the most frequently asked question:
Q:"What does 10-7 Photography mean?"

A: The 10th of July is a significant day for me and so 10-7 was a natural name for my photography business.

My name is John Maitland and I've been interested in photography my whole life.  Starting out when I was young with a 35mm and a polaroid, I never missed a chance to be taking pictures.

As I got older and the means became available, I started taking more pictures and upgraded my camera to a rmore professional SLR system.

With the advent of digital camera technology, I saw the opportunity to blend my love of computers and photography and purchased my first digital SLR when Canon released the 10D.

Having always used computers and Photoshop, the digital workflow was a natural solution for my photographic needs and digital photography has allowed me to expand my creativity and knowledge.

Since then I have expanded to a wide variety of photography and continue to diversify my interests and portfolio and have also added web and graphic design to my list of services.  See the Services section for more information on all that 10-7 Photography has to offer!
